Double decker buses not coming to Killarney Heights

There are fantastic new double decker buses running along Warringah road. They have a wonderful upstairs front window and cool LED lighting inside. This one is off to Terrey Hills.

Alas, the trees along the side of roads in Killarney Heights means that we will not be seeing these buses any time soon. We can only dream (or catch the Terrey Hills bus and walk home).

SMH Slanders the fine name of our suburb

I was shocked, shocked, to read of "blood curdling screams" in Killarney Heights, when I heard nothing!

However it turns out that this was an error by a sub-editor (do they even have those any more?) and was actually Killarney Vale.

We can rest in peace again.

Farewell to the Tennis Centre

After 25 years of operation in Killarney Heights, Mark Lawrence is to close the Killarney Heights Tennis Centre.

It's another blow following the closure of the squash courts and restriction of general use of the swimming pool (admittedly not in rapid succession but still...).

Mark has done a wonderful job and I feel a little guilty that I've only played once at his establishment.

Vandals tag entire suburb with british flags

Oh, the horror, the horror. I awoke this morning to find that in the dead of the night, vandals had attacked and damaged our pristine front lawns with an unwanted nationalistic symbol of our British overlords.

This is another publicity stunt from Mr Brian Fairweather of Ray White Real Estate. Please take me off your list.
